A No-Name K-Cup and Grounds Brewer With Iced Mode Is $55 at Amazon

A small single-serve brewer that takes K-Cups or ground coffee and has an iced setting is $54.99 at Amazon, down from $69.99, The Inventory reported on Nov. 4.

The Inventory doesn’t name the maker, and says itself that this isn’t a widely recognized brand. What it describes is the familiar budget recipe: a pod holder, the option to brew grounds, and an iced mode that brews a stronger cup straight over ice rather than true cold brew. The outlet pitches it at dorms, apartments, offices and RVs, where counter space is tight.

It’s also upfront about the catches. The Inventory says to check whether the reusable grounds basket actually comes with the listing, since it may not ship with every one. It also expects a small water tank, lighter build quality than Keurig or Ninja, fewer cup sizes, and warranty support that may vary, so read the return policy before you buy.

We couldn’t confirm the price or the model on Amazon ourselves, so treat $54.99 as The Inventory’s figure from Nov. 4.

Our take: this sits awkwardly between two deals we covered on Nov. 3. The Shardor Mini at $36 does the same pod-plus-grounds trick for less, and Ninja’s Pods and Grounds brewer at $100 is a known name with a frother. Whichever you get, using grounds is where the savings are, as our cost-per-cup math shows.
